  U.S. M1872 Enlisted Greatcoat

Both Foot (Infantry) and Mounted (Artillery & Cavalry - pictured) greatcoats are double breasted with cuff length cape. Cape is NOT lined and is permanently attached to the body. The coat body has 5/8 length grey wool lining (blanket lined) and cotton sleeve lining. Collar is the stand and fall collar.

Made from our quality 20 ounce field service sky blue wool. The coat is virtually identical to the Mounted Greatcoat from 1858 except the collar is a little shorter in height and a gray wool flannel body lining has been added. Raw bottom skirt, as per originals in Sky Blue Wool.
